I was born into a military family, spending my childhood zigzagging from state to state before landing in Cadillac in 2002, and graduating from CHS in 2005. I married my wonderful husband Dan in 2013, and together we have three beautiful children; Harvey, Juniper, and Andy. I’ve returned to Cadillac Area Public Schools to work as the art teacher at Mackinaw Trail Middle School, and I’ve got to say, out of all the amazing programming that our YMCA offers, my favorite is the afterschool teen program. It is a tremendous resource for our students and their families. I have fond memories of working at camp Torenta, and it’s fun to watch my children make memories there too. I am equal parts excited and nervous to learn this dance, but I believe in the mission of the Y, so here we go!
